My everyday tasks involve ensuring all finance and administration obligations are adhered to (all things outside of sales and marketing that is). I also provide support where required to staff, managers and the board, and at all times promoting Apricity.
Life is getting shorter… tell the important people in your life that you care about them, and try to be more conscious of being ‘in the moment’!
My first job was working in my mate’s dad’s chemist shop in the photo development area. Wow, I feel old!
I also spent a lot of time picking up glasses in the local RSL Club – being a glassie is an Aussie right of passage!!
I’m lucky enough to live in Cronulla, so you will either find me in the water having a surf or trying to find an uncrowded swim at a local spot.
This is a tough question for me, but if you’re making me choose: my favourite book is Lord Of The Rings, my favourite movie is Inception, and I can’t choose one favourite song – I love music so much it’s just not possible.
Given the fact that I have memories of Linden and I at his kitchen table in Bowral, of us setting up email addresses and buying our first photocopier, needless to say I have a lot of love for Apricity. It’s been my life for many years and often times it has basically been my second (although sometimes first) family.
One of my favourite things about working at Apricity is the tight-knit nature – build relationships with staff that go beyond business. Family and mental health come before business at Apricity, every single time. I think that’s pretty cool.
