THE NICKNAME PEOPLE KNOW ME FOR…

Is Dais, it’s kind of hard to shorten my name so I really don’t have any nicknames!

IN A NUTSHELL, MY JOB IS TO…

Assist the company in all marketing campaigns and efforts. Specifically I look after the posts made on our company’s LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as all things digital – uploading blogs and website posts, editing videos, and creating + distributing digital content via targeted email campaigns, working closely with our sales team.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I’VE LEARNT IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS IS…

To take things as they come and to not stress over things that are out of my control. Also that I am capable of more than I realise when I put my mind to it.

MY FIRST JOB OUT OF SCHOOL WAS…

As a travel agent at Flight Centre, although through school I worked at McDonald’s. Working at Flight Centre was a lot of fun, I grew up travelling my whole life so being able to help people go on their dream holidays was exciting and rewarding. Plus I was sent on trips to Melbourne and a new Australian cruise ship’s maiden voyage!

IF I HAD THE DAY OFF TODAY, YOU WOULD FIND ME…

At the beach, swimming.

MY FAVOURITE BOOK/MOVIE/SONG IS…

For the book I’d have to say The Hunger Games as I don’t read as much as I did in high school, for the movie I have so many but one is definitely Focus with Will Smith and Margot Robbie, and for a song well it changes all the time but currently it is 505 by the Arctic Monkeys.

MY FAVOURITE THING ABOUT APRICITY IS…

The people. They were so welcoming when I joined and continuously helped me to find my feet. The company culture we have is really great as everyone wants to see each other succeed.
