Ben started with Apricity in 2020 through his links with Randwick Rugby Club, whom Apricity sponsored for a number of years.
As a senior executive with extensive experience across marketing, events, partnerships & operations, Ben has previously worked for industry leaders in the entertainment world including Southern Cross Austereo (Triple M, 2DayFM), Event Hospitality & Entertainment (Event Cinemas, QT Hotels, Moonlight Cinema, Thredbo Ski Resort, State Theatre) and Sony Music. He enjoys leading and mentoring teams, building relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders plus creating and delivering engaging campaigns.
With a huge passion for all sports – Ben coaches rugby union outside of work at a semi-professional level. Based in Sydney with wife Karlie, young kids Charlotte and Paddy plus the family dog Teddy, he is family-focused and happiest enjoying good company and a few laughs.

1. Kobe Bryant - I’m fascinated by his attitude and ‘mamba mentality’
2. Robin Williams - he was a comedic genius
3. Phil Jackson - he coached the legendary Bulls & Lakers teams to NBA championships, and as an aspiring coach, I’d love to pick his brain
4. Michelle Obama - she is a class act and a woman I find intriguing
5. Paul McCartney - musical genius, say no more
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
Leatherman, mosquito net and some sort of device (with never ending battery supply) to play music.
What is your favourite holiday destination and why?
Hawaii - it’s literally heaven on earth and every time I’ve been there, you can’t help but feel relaxed and happy.
What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Have a crack - life is short so laugh and live.
If money was no object, what would you do all day?
Try to combine a mixture of what I love (family and sport) with the ability to help others in less fortunate positions.
