What’s the thing you love most about the job?
The people I meet and work with. The culture in Apricity is like a family working together, and that’s what I love about my job. I enjoy meeting interesting people along the way, whether it be colleagues, professionals, brokers or potential and existing clients. I enjoy working with clients who are having financial challenges within their own business and assisting them to work through and solve those problems. And of course, the wonderful friends and connections I now have in Australia have become a great part of my job and life!

What are you most proud of?
I love the challenge of developing a new project and turning it into something successful and beneficial for our clients. I get great satisfaction from opening new doors, getting great results and being able to look back and say ‘I did that’.

What was the last gift you gave someone?
The last gift I gave was a watch to my partner. I was in trouble for spending too much money, but it was worth it.

What talent do you secretly wish you had?
Now this is getting close and personal – but I wish I had finished my music studies and could properly play an instrument and sing in tune.

What is your favourite quote?
“Many people walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart” – Eleanor Roosevelt.

How are you lucky and why?
I am lucky to be alive following a major accident when I was 21 and in a coma (not induced but a real one) with 7% chance of living for 3 weeks – every day since then has been a bonus and I remind myself of that regularly.

What was the best concert you ever attended?
The best concert I’ve ever attended was Josh Groban, in Auckland in 2016. A magic young entertainer with a great personality, a wonderful story and an awesome voice. This concert was way better than we expected.. Next on this list is Pink, and we are hoping that will live up to expectations.
