Accounting firm Xero is now providing a monthly report as insight into small businesses to inform government policy and regulation. Trent Innes, Xero Australia Managing Director said the company’s data shows there has been some improvement. Recent Xero data showed that there has been an increase to over 50% of small businesses throughout Australia being cash flow positive. Small businesses are an integral part of Australian society. Positive steps are being taken to ensure that these small businesses are being protected when it comes to cash flow finance and payments.
